Delayed Reaction Drive (DRD)
A Delayed Reaction Drive (DRD) is proprietary propulsion technology currently undergoing development. Utilizing only an electrical power source, it generates an isolated force that translate objects in space without the need to eject mass. They can be used in tandem with conventional propulsion systems such as rockets, thrusters and ion drives to: 1) conserve fuel; 2) decrease velocity; and, 3) perform micro maneuvers.

They do not: 1) require refueling; 2) need the storage of fuel; 3) emit emissions; 4) involve a combustion process; or, 5) release propellant. Due to these benefits, DRDs will drastically conserve mass and volume for other space vehicle functions, components and missions. They will not significantly increase the velocity of objects in space, but when properly placed, they will shift, slow or stop them in a controlled manner. They can be applied to reduce kinetic energy.
